DSP2 is a software for sex diagnosis using worldwide variability in hip bone measurements.
It is a software update of the original software published in 2005 (Murail P., Bruzek J., Houët F. and Cunha E. DSP: a tool for sex diagnosis using worldwide variability in hip bone measurements. Bulletins et mémoires de la société d'anthropologie de Paris, n.s., 17(3-4), 167-176).

1) Install R.
In a terminal, type:
sudo apt-get install r-base-core
2) Install QT runtime.
In a terminal, type:
sudo apt-get install libqt5core5
sudo apt-get install libqt5gui5
sudo apt-get install libqt5widgets5
3) Unzip the DSP2 archive in a folder.
4) If necessary, setup execution permissions on the DSP file.
In a terminal, type:
cd [path_to_the_DSP_folder]
sudo chmod a+x DSP
5) Run: double clic on DSP binary file
1) Install R.
In a terminal, type:
sudo zypper install R-base
2) Install QT runtime.
In a terminal, type:
sudo zypper install libQt5Core5
sudo zypper install libQt5Gui5
sudo zypper install libQt5Widgets5
3) Unzip the DSP2 archive in a folder.
4) If necessary, setup execution permissions on the DSP file.
In a terminal, type:
cd [path_to_the_DSP_folder]
sudo chmod a+x DSP
5) Run: double clic on DSP binary file
1) Install R.
Download R 3.3.2 or greater for mac from http://www.r-project.org/ and install it
2) Unzip the DSP2 archive and double click on DSPV2.app
If the computation does not run in DSP, you have to check if Rscript is in /usr/local/bin. If not, search for it (which rscript) and create a symbolic link.
If you don't know how to deal with that, contact a Mac guru.
